Hypothesis testing
Hypothesis testing is a statistical method used to evaluate claims about a population using sample data. This workshop introduces the fundamentals of hypothesis testing and its role in inferential statistics. Participants will learn how to formulate hypotheses, interpret p-values, and make appropriate conclusions from sample data. Common statistical tests (t-tests, chi square tests) will be covered through practical examples and a hands-on SPSS demonstration.
This is an online workshop held by our Biostatistican, Dr Eleanor (Ellie) Fallon.
