Induction Guide

A staff member’s view of our University is strongly influenced by the impressions formed during the first few weeks on the job, and in particular by those of the first day. A well thought out induction can help ensure that the impressions are positive and that your employee becomes familiar with the requirements of your post as quickly as possible. It is important that Departments/Divisions play a role in the induction of new staff members into their area. A local induction should be conducted for new appointees so that they can familiarise themselves with their new role and responsibilities, their colleagues and the practical details of starting a new job.
