Course Overview

International students bring a broad range of cultural and academic perspectives to the learning environment, and this diversity has the capacity to enrich teaching and learning in a university. However, it can also present many teaching and learning issues.

This workshop is designed to highlight the needs of international students as learners and the challenges that can arise for teaching staff in a diverse intercultural classroom. It will introduce issues of cross-cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication to those who teach international students.
