Course Overview

Public and patient involvement helps assure that health research is addressing the needs of those who are affected most, and produces results that are relevant and usable by those who need to apply them. This workshop will introduces PPI and how it is underpinned by the theory and practice of participatory health research. The workshop is aimed primarily at academic and clinical faculty and researchers who need to better understand how to involve patients and other stakeholders as co-researchers; but is also relevant and accessible to health care professionals, decision-makers or anyone else who needs an introduction to fundamental concepts in PPI.
