Course Overview

The aim of this workshop is to provide insights into the entrepreneurial process and associated skills required to extend the use and application of research for multi - stakeholder benefits.

 The workshop will address the following topics:

  • Demystifying the language of entrepreneurship and innovation in the context of research and demonstrating where entrepreneurial and innovative skills add value to a career in research, academia and industry.
  • Connecting research concepts and business opportunities – two sides of the same coin.
  • From research concept to application and commercialisation   – what questions need to be answered and how?

The workshop will encourage participants to think entrepreneurially about different types of opportunities enabled by research projects. Participants will engage in an entrepreneurial
