International students bring a broad range of cultural and academic perspectives to the learning environment, and this diversity has the capacity to enrich teaching and learning in a university.This workshop is designed to highlight the needs of international students as learners and the challenges that can arise for teaching staff in a diverse intercultural classroom. It will introduce issues of cross-cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication to those who teach international students.
