EPA funded project entitled LCD-Val.

A research master’s position is available on an EPA funded project entitled LCD-Val. The project involves the valorization of waste from waste electronic equipment; specifically liquid crystal display TVs. Candidates must have a degree in chemistry or materials background. Knowledge and understanding of electrochemistry, hydrometallurgy and extraction techniques would be advantageous.  Previous experience with ICP-AES, mass spectrometry or other such analytical chemistry techniques would also be preferable.
