Using data from the General Registrar Office of Ireland and Coroners’ inquests held at the National Archives of Ireland this project aims to train and produce two PhDs in the fields of medical and digital humanities. Both topics have been defined in the overarching project aims as follows: PhD 1. Tuberculosis, digital humanities and disease mapping, Ireland 1864-1922 PhD 2: The Irish coroners’ courts as spectacle.
