The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly brought about some unusual times. Since the closure of the UL Campus back in March 2020, both students and staff have had to adapt to a new way of working.

In the past, The UL Global Office was ranked number 1 out of 51 UK and Ireland universities and UL also scored highest for pre-arrival information for international students. While our orientation programme may look a little different this year in the midst of COVID-19, the team are here at UL Global are continuing to make preparations to welcome international students in September 2020 and to ensure that your transition to the University of Limerick is a smooth one.

In line with Public Health Guidelines, international students who arrive in Ireland from another country need to restrict their movements for 14 days (You can read more about that here. This means staying at home and avoiding contact with other people and social situations as much as possible. For our incoming international students, you will need to restrict your movements for 14 days before you will be able to access campus facilities. For this reason, we have produced a video which displays all the facilities UL has to offer! This virtual tour brings you through our award winning campus and shows you the impressive Sports Arena that houses an Olympic sized swimming pool, the newly extended Glucksman Library which holds a whopping 2,200 students at once, the many spacious student villages across campus and everything in between! Give it a watch here and see what UL has in store for you!
