

On September 1st School of Medicine graduations took place.
Roisin Doogue, supervised by Prof Liam Glynn & Associate Professor Peter Hayes, graduated with a PhD. Her thesis was entitled "Can self-monitoring of blood pressure, with or without co-interventions improve blood pressure control in people who have had a previous stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA)?
19 students were awarded a BSc in Biomedical Science. Professor Patrick Kiely was the course director on this programme.Sarah Jane Long was the medal winner.
28 students graduated from the BSc Paramedic Studies programme and 7 from the BSc Paramedic Studies- Practitioner Entry Programme. The medal winners are Sumer Alers and Stephen Mason.
