By ensuring a strong, well-designed curricular base and by providing a distincitive pedagogical climate, we aim to ensure the UL graduates are knowledgeable, proactive, creative, responsible, collaborative and articulate.  These are the six key graduate attrubutes that will continue to guide our institutional policies, learning environment and our committment to broadening the curriculum.

Our Graduate Attributes

In January 2010, UL embarked on the delivery of our strategic commitment to create a broader curriculum for UL students. All of the modules on offer combine to create an innovative and exciting suite of proposals.

All the module teams have engaged in much inter-disciplinary dialogue, developed innovative approaches to teaching and assessing their proposed modules, and each of these should make a strong contribution to UL’s curriculum broadening strategy. The modules are coordinated in the usual way by a host department, which is responsible for all aspects of running the module.
