Dr. Annie O’Donovan is an Educational Developer in the Centre for Transformative Learning in the area of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Annie’s role is to support the embedding of the UDL approach across campus, to ensure an accessible learning, teaching and assessment experience that is inclusive in language, material and approach.

Annie’s academic background is in applied philosophy. She has been teaching and facilitating learning in diverse environments since 2013, including lecturing undergraduates, teaching in YouthReach centres, and facilitating communities of philosophical inquiry in traditional and non-traditional educational settings, with thinkers aged four to adult.

Her research interests are in Universal Design for Learning, inclusive pedagogies, and the application of philosophical thinking to policy and practice.
