Stryker Ireland currently employs approximately 3,500 employees across a campus of 6 plants; four of which are manufacturing facilities in Cork & Limerick. We also have a R&D Innovation Centre and a new Stryker Anngrove facility which is solely dedicated to 3D printing. Both of these plants are based in Cork. These Centres of Excellence manufacture and distribute orthopaedic implants, biomaterials, neurovascular devices and surgical instruments to a global supply base across a number of different divisions within the Stryker organisation.
A wide and diverse range of Stryker products are manufactured in Ireland including hip and knee system implants, bone cement, surgical blades and micro-rotary burs which are used for cutting, drilling, burring and shaping bone and soft tissue during orthopaedic, spine, ear, nose, throat and plastic surgery. Our Neurovascular product pipeline represents a broad offering of detachable coils for the treatment of hemorrhagic stroke (the rupture of a blood vessel in the brain) and ischemic stroke (a blockage in a blood vessel in the brain).
