As one of Ireland’s 200 biggest companies, we have plans for further expansion and a constant drive to improve what we do. There’s never been a more exciting time to join our team. A career at Smyths Toys offers you the opportunity to learn new skills, develop your potential and make a lasting impact in one of the largest and fastest growing retailers in the UK and Ireland. As a rapidly expanding, multi-site, multi-channel retailer, Smyths Toys employs almost 5,000 people at peak trading times, executes a multi-million euro buying portfolio annually and uses cutting edge business IT systems. With over 150 employees at our Galway Headquarters, we operate a relatively flat organisational structure. We believe that giving you exposure to senior, experienced people, right up to the Managing Director, will help you to thrive in your new role. This has helped us to create a lively and informal working environment. Ensuring that we sell high quality products at competitive prices requires hard work, initiative and risk taking. We look for excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for our products and, most importantly, common sense in all of our candidates. Our success depends on all departments working together to achieve real results.
