The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities. Businesses managed by the NTMA include borrowing for the Exchequer and the management of the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, the New Economy and Recovery Authority (“NewERA”), the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and the National Development Finance Agency. T he NTMA also assigns staff to the National Asset Management Agency and SBCI and HBFI.

The NTMA is now offering an exciting opportunity for talented graduates to join the NTMA on a 24 month graduate programme commencing in October 2021.
Our graduate programme will consist of a number of distinct placements and where possible each placement will consist of rotations to different business areas or teams within the specialist area. At the end of the programme the successful graduates will have developed a solid knowledge base of these business units and the wider NTMA.
Specialist areas available on the Graduate Programme:
Corporate Finance - this placement is open to graduates with an interest in corporate finance, investment and fund management; there will be three 8 month rotations on this placement to ISIF, NewERA, and the NDFA.

Do you have what it takes?

Successful candidates will have a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree and a minimum of a 2.1 Masters, ideally in accountancy.
