Working Title of Thesis:
Data privacy and surveillance issues in telematics use? A young driver study in a German context.
Tim Jannusch is a current PhD student at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick as part of the Emerging Risk Group (ERG). In collaboration with the Institute for Insurance Studies (ivwKöln) of the TH Köln, University of Applied Sciences, where he holds the position of Research Assistant at the Research Centre for the Insurance Market, Tim is engaged in research in the field of motor telematics. The core of his research is a risk management consideration of advancing technologisation towards a further reduction of the occurrence and severity of young driver’s road crashes. Within that focus Tim also rehearses issues of data privacy and surveillance in telematics use.
