First year Law & Accounting students 'Get to Know You' event

A meeting of First year L&A students was convened by Course Director Dr John Heneghan in response to an observation by the student reps that in sharing classes with other programmes, the first Year L&A students had no opportunity to meet among themselves up to this point.

The CD lead a management intervention that required the 60 plus attendees to tackle a few management problems in groups of 10. The exercise was helped along with assistance from colleagues from the Law school Dr. Laura Donnellan and Eoin Quill, and from the KBS Dr. Mary Curtin and TAs Ellen Jordan and Criostoir Hasty.

A similar intervention is planned for the Spring.  A special shout out to student Laura Madigan who answered the call for a suggested time and date.
