Social Media for Social Good - Story Fair 4 April 1.30pm

Social Media for Social Good - Story Fair, April 4th 1.30pm

On Thursday April 4th students will present a poster display of their work on the module ‘Social Media for Social Good’ in the KBS ground floor between 1.30pm and 2.30pm. All Welcome.

Visitors to the Story Fair will see social media strategies developed and implemented for 12 different Limerick-based community and non-profit organisations. The module gives the students the opportunity to work together in groups with their organisation, while reflecting on questions of social responsibility and ethical practice using social media techniques. On April 4th they will get an opportunity to present their work and to get feedback from interested organisations and individuals.

Visitors to the Story Fair will be asked to vote on the most innovative and useful work on show using their phones or tablets. The link to the voting app will be provided at the Story Fair, so bring a smartphone or some means of voting with you if you can! And spread the word to others that might like to come along.

You can also follow Social Media for Social Good on twitter using the hashtag #ULSocialGood.
