KBS International Business Workshop 2021 Speakers

Bruno Rossignol opened our International Business Workshop 2021 with his speech to the MSc Risk Management and Insurance and the MSc in Financial Services students on Wednesday.

Bruno Rossignol is Head of Programme for Climate and Heritage and responsible for communications at the EIB Institute. A sincere thank you to Bruno for his educational and eye-opening speech to our MSc students.

Sean Crowe also presented at our Workshop.  Sean joined Bank of Ireland in 1993 as a financial markets trader and subsequently served in a number of senior executive roles including Group Treasurer, before taking on the role of CEO of the Markets and Treasury Division from 2018 to 2020.  A big thank you to Sean for sharing his knowledge with our MSc students this week.

Olga Francova also met with our MSc students.  Olga is a Senior Policy Strategist at the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). She holds a PhD in International Economic Relations and Master Degree in International Business from the University of Economics in Prague. Her research focuses on different aspects of the EU integration process, especially EU fiscal policy coordination, financial regulation and EU Institutions.  Many thanks to Olga for sharing her experiences and knowledge with our MSc students last week.

KBS welcomed Alexandra Maniati to speak to our MSc students.  Alexandra joined the European Banking Federation (EBF) in January 2017 as a Senior Policy Advisor in charge of the Cybersecurity, Digital Skills and Social Affairs portfolios.

In the framework of cybersecurity and digital skills, Alexandra is responsible for the creation and implementation of the EBF Cybersecurity Working Group action plan, relevant EBF positions, relations with EU institutions, the annual EBF Cybersecurity Conference and projects aimed at the harmonization of the legislative and regulatory environment, cybersecurity awareness-raising and the enhancement of digital skills for bank employees and customers. She also represents the EBF in the Advisory Group on Financial Services of Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) and the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition of the European Commission.  Thank you to Alexandra for taking time to share her life experiences and expertise with our students.
