How our research impacts practice

We have a focus where possible on translating our research to make it accessible to as wide a range of non-academic groups and organisations as possible. This is in line with our commitment as a Champion of PRME and under the fourth goal of our strategic plan to engage with the wider group of stakeholders.

To this end we have established the Kemmy Business School Research Bulletin series, each issue of which features the findings of a top quality academic article and translates its findings in a way that is relevant and useful to a wider range of policy-makers, businesses, NPOs or other groups.

An excellent example of KBS research impacting on practice and policy is the work of Professor Paddy Gunnigle and Dr. Jonathan Lavelle on employment practices in the multinational sector in Ireland. This twenty-year stream of research has recently been profiled as one of four impact cases from across the University. Click here to read the detailed case.
