Denis O’Hora (NUI Galway) will present his research on basic decision making using mouse tracking and eye tracking. His research focuses on simple perceptual or preference tasks or intertemporal choice and should be of interest to those working across economics, finance, accounting and organisational behaviour. Any faculty or research students with an interest in this area are welcome to attend.

You are invited to a speech by Gerry Cross, Director of Policy and Risk, Central Bank of Ireland. In the speech, Gerry will focus on the evolution of the financial regulatory agenda since the start of the financial crisis in 2007. It will explore whether we have achieved what was set out in the wake of the crisis and present the outstanding challenges facing the Irish and European financial system in the coming years, from Brexit to Cybersecurity.

Titled: Changes in the UK public/private sector wage differential overtime and some preliminary finding on the effect of social capital measures on changes in total factor productivity and an individual measure of subjective wellbeing for the UK.
