International Business

The BA in International Business is a pioneering new programme that accepted its first cohort of students in September 2012.
This degree provides students with strong technical knowledge in a number of key business disciplines, and encourages students to understand how business decisions should be undertaken in a globalised world shaped by political, social and legal issues.
Throughout the programme, students may choose modules that reflect the subject areas that they deem necessary and most interesting for their academic and career goals. This programme requires students to undertake a combination of study and work outside of Ireland.

Students may choose a 'language' stream or a 'business/humanities' stream.

  • This four-year degree offers a broad range of modules in business, humanities and languages.
  • You can choose subject areas that are of greatest interest and relevance to you and your future career.
  • In Year 3, students are required to undertake a combination of study and work outside of Ireland.
  • Graduates may pursue rewarding international careers in Finance, Accounting, HR, Marketing, Economics or the NGO sector.
