Language Centre welcomes Algerian Academics for first Professional English programme

The University of Limerick Language Centre, in collaboration with MLAL colleagues, was very pleased to welcome a group of Algerian academics from Jijel and Tizi Ouzou Universities for our first Professional English Language Development and English as a Medium of Instruction for Academics programme.

A lovely networking and brunch, organised by Dr Angela Farrell, was held in the Globe, with contributions from Professor Colin Fitzpatrick VP Global & Community Engagement, Dr Sandra Joyce Executive Dean, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Zoë Lawlor Director ULLC,  Dr Lamia Beguedouar, Jijel and Dr Ahlam Benamra, Tizi Ouzou.

Special thanks also to Liz Shannon, Caroline Harrington, Aoife Blackwell and Mia Cussen.  We hope this is the first of many such visits from Algerian academics.
