Sonorities Festival of New Music in Belfast

Dr Yonit Kosovske, in collaboration with musicians Dr Xenia Pestova Bennett and Sarah Groser, will be Artists in Residence at the Sonorities Festival of New Music in Belfast. On April 16, 1pm–2:10pm in the Harty Room at Queens University, the trio will perform a concert of new works for harpsichord, toy piano, piano, and viola da gamba, featuring compositions by Anna-Kaisa Meklin, Karlheinz Essl, Xenia Pestova Bennett, Matías Padellaro, Janet Oates, Luis Fernando Sanchez Garcia, and Elaine McCabe. 

Their performance will include the UK premiere of "BAILE/home", commissioned by Kosovske with funding from the Arts Council of Ireland. The artists gratefully acknowledge support from the PRS Foundation Beyond Borders scheme on this tour in collaboration with H.I.P.S.T.E.R., Historically Informed Performance Series, Teaching, Education and Research.
