As part of our European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA)-funded Safe Futures Project, REPPP facilitated a Community of Practice knowledge exchange event, in The Hague, with partners from The Netherlands, France, Northern Ireland, and Belgium. The event brought together practitioners, policy makers, and researchers who are all working to understand and address the complex challenge of young people’s recruitment into criminal networks and drugs markets across Europe.
Over the course of the 2 days in March 2026, delegates visited Prevention with Authority projects in The Hague and Delft; while also learning about interventions and research that are happening in Ireland (Greentown Project), The Netherlands (EPIC Research Programme) and France (Mildeca Limits Programme). Learning from other EU-funded projects (Salvus) and (CHANCE Network/Prevent) was also shared.
