Student ID Cards

Each student at the University of Limerick is required to carry a current valid Student Identity Card while on campus.

It is important that you keep your ID card with you while on campus, as it will give you access to facilities such as the Library, certain classrooms and on-campus events.

New students are issued with student ID cards during enrolment at Orientation.

In order to obtain a Student ID Card, there is a verification process to ensure your legal name is recorded on your student record.

If your Student ID Card has been lost or destroyed, you must contact the Academic Registry for a replacement.

Academic Registry will issue replacement cards (at a charge of €10) during usual opening hours. You can also order these over the phone to be posted to your home address by calling 061233755 and paying with card over the phone.

**During the COVID19 closure, unfortunately it is not possible to issue replacement ID cards.
