Each student at the University of Limerick is required to carry a current valid Student Identity Card while on campus.
It is important that you keep your ID card with you while on campus, as it will give you access to facilities such as the Library, certain classrooms and on-campus events.
ID cards for new students:
New students are issued with student ID cards when they commence their studies.
In order to obtain a Student ID Card, there is a verification process to ensure your legal name is recorded on your student record.
Replacing your ID card:
If your Student ID Card has been lost or destroyed, you must contact the Academic Registry through Student Hub Online for a replacement.
Replacement cards will be issued after the semester begins. They may take longer than usual to process and post so while you wait for your card, you can access the library using the temporary pass system in the library lobby.
