CEMS Seminar Series Autumn 2021-2

We are delighted to announce details of an online CEMS Limerick series on Cultures of Learning in Early Modern Europe. There will be three symposia in total:

• The first on Scholarly Vices and Virtues takes place on 29 September from 12-14 and will feature papers from Karen Hollewand (Utrecht), Sari Kivistö (Tampere), and Hannah Skoda (Oxford).

• The second on Female Religious Cultures of Learning takes place on 20 October at the later time of 14:30-16:30 and will include papers from Cormac Begadon (Durham), Jaime Goodrich (Wayne State University) and Tonya J. Moutray (Russell Sage College, Troy, NY).

• The final symposium on Knowledge, Learning and Student Notebooks takes place on 10 November from 12-14. The speakers are Alexandra Baneu (Cluj-Napoca), Maximilian Schuh (Freie Universität Berlin) and Violet Soen (KU Leuven).
