The Centre for Project Management (www.cpm.ul.ie) offer a number of short training products designed to give people project management skills and knowledge which they can readily apply to their project own settings. The courses are designed to be fully interactive with learners having full opportunity to explore project management standard frameworks and good practices with a practical application focus to real examples.
The next 4 day Applied Project Management programme will take place on:
Block 1: Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th October 2013
Block 2: Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th November 2013
Venue: Kemmy Business School
The cost of this programme is €1,400 per person. Students: €500 UL Staff: €700
All courses are instructor lead, classroom based, incorporating structured hands on activities and case studies designed to enhance learning experiences by giving practical illustrations of the successful adaptation of good project management practices. In addition as a Registered Education Provider (REP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) all our courses can provide credit hours for those wishing to claim Professional Development Units (PDUs). (You need minimum of 35 hours formal PM training before you apply to do the PMP exam…The above 4 day programme will give you that).
In addition for those working towards industry certification with the PMI we are offering the following exam preparation course:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep programme (3 days):
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, 25th/26th/27th November 2013
Venue: Kemmy Business School
The cost of this programme is €900 per person. UL Staff: €450 Students €400
NOTE: The above programmes will be based on the new edition of PMBOK (5th Edition).
