The Science Learning Centre is a vital resource that offers support in all science modules including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Sports Science. All services offered by the centre are free of charge to students.

Aims of the centre
To provide support to students in their learning of science through:
- provision of a drop-in centre a dedicated supervised area for all students with access to personal tutors and additional resources
- addressing science support needs for specific groups e.g. mature students, transferee students, lifelong learning, access students, international students, etc.
- researching the needs of individual learners in terms of learning styles, pedagogy, delivery methods and peer support.
Funding for the Science Learning Centre was recieved from the Higher Education Authority.
