Brief Diary of a UL Spring Challenge Event
This weekend event commences on Saturday morning, with registration around 10.30am,
The first race on the water starts at 12.00 noon followed by a lunch break. The lunch break allows the race officer time to review the course and make any adjustments to the course both in length and its position relative to the wind. Hence insuring that it is possible to complete the remaining races, each within one hour. Off the water is usually 3-3:30pm.

On Sunday as there is no lifting of masts or registration. Arrival at the Centre takes place at 9.30 and the first race on the water starts around 11.00 am. If after race one no adjustments need to be made to the course then lunch on the water is often postponed and racing continues until three race have been completed. Off the water is usually 2-3:00pm.

Race results are compiled and the presentation of the trophy may take place at ULAC or at another venue nearby.
