The Club’s sailing fleet of boats is made up of four RS visions (2-3 persons) and nine RS Feva boats(1-2 person).
The Vision is a larger double-handed boat that can easily accommodate up to 3 or 4 people for cruising. 5 of these boats were purchased in August of 2005. The boat is wide and stable so that all levels of sailors can sail it. In racing mode the Vision is equipped with a large asymmetrical spinnaker (genaker) and a trapeze pack. This boat goes very well in light conditions and can be reefed for the heavier weather conditions. .. Useful Links >>
The RS Feva is a single-handed boat to cater for learning but is also a great boat to race. With 9 boats in the fleet it can get very competitive! They can also be sailed easily for pottering around the lake. These boats were purchased in 2005 and replaced the ageing Topper boats. They are simple to rig and are very robust. These boats can also be rigged with a jib for double-handed use. Useful Links >>
