The link above is a link to a handout on the different types of cams and followers.

Handout No.2

The link above is a link to a handout on the relative motions of a cam and follower in a cam and follower system and on the different types of follower motion that can imparted on a follower.

 

Transparencies

In the case of these transparencies the images are saved as animated gifs.  To convert to transparencies copy the image as a gif and then use an animation to save each of the frames of the animation as a file.   This will then allow you to print the transparencies in an overlay format and also allow you to edit them at your own discretion.
