Lucernarium...

You are invited to join a chamber choir called 'Lucernarium', organised by the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in association with the MA programme in Chant and Ritual Song.

Lucernarium chant and choral ensemble performing a Christmas Carol Concert in St Mary's Cathedral, Limerick with The University of Limerick Choir. The choir specialises in singing chant and liturgical choral music. It takes its name from the service of light called the 'Lucernarium', which has its roots in Judaic domestic liturgy and the lighting of the Sabbath light. The Christian evening prayer of Vespers originated from this blessing of the light. All are welcome.

Lucernarium often performs in association with the University of Limerick Choir. For upcoming concerts see the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance Dairy.
