Aims and Objectives
- To provide two independent, yet interacting streams of study; one, with an emphasis on performance and the specialist repertoire of chant and, the other, with an emphasis on the academic study of ritual context and ritually-based vocal repertoires.
- To develop a research foundation for the interdisciplinary study of music, performance, theology and anthropology.
