Contemporary dance student performance ©MGDance is a central and essential component of activities at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.

Curricular contexts are found for academic reflection and the development of performance practice and repertoire / work.

The programmes that are principally concerned with Dance are the MAs in Dance Performance and Ethnochoreology, the BAs Irish Music and Dance and Voice and Dance. The MA Dance Performance has two streams, one for Contemporary Dance and one for Irish Traditional Dance.

There are also several students engaged in dance research at Masters and Doctorate levels.
