Message from the GAA development officer...

Working with GAA students in this university is a great challenge. Putting together all the structures coupled with student co-operation
and effort, the UL club jersey will be a friend through your college years and afterwards.
|
Taking into account the location of this university, resting in the heart of the GAA world in Munster with its impressive facilities
and easy access to Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Offaly, North Cork, South Galway and Kerry, together we can look forward to
achieving great things in the future.
Today I take the opportunity of thanking the students leaving us and to welcome the young freshers arriving, also looking forward
to meeting up again with the existing students after their summer vacation,
GAA students returning this year will witness changes to all areas of the GAA within the university, student bursaries up by 30%,
three new sponsors in O2 customer care, AIB and Bank of Ireland. Many new operating structures put in place to facilitate the
GAA players doing what they do best (playing the game).
Now is the time, sign up-get involved!
