Geodesic spheres and domes may have a different
frequencies. The frequency of the dome relates to the number of
smaller triangles it is divided into. A high frequency dome has a
greater number of triangular components and as a result has a
smoother curved surface. 
This can be seen in the
two animations , as the frequency increases the straight edges
become more curved.
