Cappavilla Village

Cappavilla is the newest on campus village located on the North Bank
Campus. Cappavilla is ideally situated beside the Health Sciences
building on an elevated site with fantastic views.
The site is located on the North bank of the river
Shannon and has a Southwesterly aspect with views over the Clare Hills,
Mill Tower, Limerick City and the University Campus. It is a prominent site
and at the top of a hill that rises moderately from the river. Due to the
topography of the site, shelter from the prevailing winds is of great
importance. The architecture of the Citadel forms a protection in itself.
We intend to plant a shelterbelt to the south and west of the Citadel.
A landscaped car park within this shelterbelt will provide
parking for the residents.

- The apartments vary in size providing 6 bedroomed units for
undergraduates, 4 bedroomed units for postgraduates and 2 bedroomed units
for families.
