ULSU 40th Celebration (40 years of Mayhem)

This year the University of Limerick Students' Union turns 40, and as such we intend to mark this colourful 4 decades of life in the Students Union with a celebration in the Limerick Radisson. The event will take place on Saturday November the 3rd, 2012 - in an event we are confident captures the essence of the Students Union in the University down through the year, with a particularly apt tagline suggested from our former Clubs & Society members in particular....  "Mayhem and Memories"

We are very much aware that many of our alumni have been active members and participants of the Students Union / Clubs & Socs on campus over the years, right the way back to when there were 2 Students Unions on campus.

We also intend using this unique opportunity to attempt to capture the full history of the Students' Union, and more importantly our past members experiences throughout the last 4 decades. Unfortunately there is no formal record of many of these contributions and achievements but the on-line booking feature has a capability to capture that information from potential attendee's and we anticipate that through the support and participation of former members, and their engagement with this event we intend to develop a publication available on the night, of a history of ULSU - 'ULSU Uncovered'

We are hoping to have representatives from the last 40 years present, and already have commitments from 50% of our potential Sabbatical audience in particular all the way back to the 1970's. This is sure to be an amazing night and we have an excellent value package courtesy of the Radisson Hotel especially for those that might be travelling to stay the night.
