40 Years of computing by ITD

An exhibition of old computer hardware in use in UL over the past 40 years. 

Items on display will include Mac SE, PDP 11, VAXstation 350, Wang microcomputer, Amstrad microcomputer range, Compaq 'Luggable', Digital VT180 and much more.

This exhibition should be of interest to everyone, young and old, as people realise how big and cumbersome the old hardware was compared to the minimal size of what are today’s hand held mobile computing devices.
