'Great Minds of the Past Century' is a site dedicated to those people who prevailed in their field of study in the last century. These amazing people dedicated their lives to fulfilling their dreams - hoping to achieve what they had only dreamed off many years previous.   Whether it was challenging nature's methodical ways and taking flight into the air or finding a drug to battle against nature's most minute organisms, these great minds fought till they succeeded in achieveing their goals.

This site takes a look at one individual from many different fields of study - from chemist to aviator and physicist to network designer. Its aim is to give a brief outline of the many historically important achievements that have been undertaken in the last century alone. Where would modern society be today without flight or penicillin? Where would we stand on international travel or on the world's population? These questions and many many more show how important these discoveries have been to the human population.
