Book / Check in for an Appointment

IF YOU HAVE A COUGH/COLD/FLU SYMPTOMS PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK TO PROTECT OUR STAFF

  • All appointments must be booked in advance and made by telephoning the above number.  It is not possible to book via email or by calling in to the Student Health Centre Reception. Our phone can be very busy at times so please be patient and keep trying.  The peak time of the day for phone calls is 9-11am so it may be easier for you to get through after this time.
  • Payment must be made in advance over the phone at the time of booking the appointment.
  • We cannot offer any walkin appointments 
  • For general doctor, general  nurse and contraception appointments, a mixture of telephone and face to face consultations are offered.
  • Urgent appointments are accommodated as much as possible for students who are acutely unwell and in need of medical attention.  In the event we are unable to facilitate you, a list of alternative options can be provided by emailing Ria.Toland@ul.ie.
  • Prescriptions are now sent electronically by the doctor or nurse directly to your pharmacy of choice.  
  • NB! You must check yourself in for your appointment using the laptop located in the waiting room. If you do not check in, the medical team will not know you have arrived. 
  • When making an appointment, please state what specific type of consultation you wish to book e.g. general doctor, contraceptive clinic, STI, physiotherapy etc.
