Two linked projects  are underway exploring 'Religions & Beliefs in Ireland' from the perspective of 2nd year HE Education and Social Science students . Funded by SCOTENS  & NISE, the research is led by  Prof. Marie Parker-Jenkins, SoE UL with co-researchers Dr Patricia Kieran (Mary Immaculate), Anne Ryan (LIT) & colleagues from 3 institutions in Northern Ireland (Stranmillis University College QUB, St Mary's University College & Ulster University). The studies have a particular focus on preparing young professionals to work in a multi-belief/multi-cultural society and the implications raised for their professional practice as well as their tutors.
