Biography

Lecturer at the University of Limerick and teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing and midwifery programmes. Clinical experience includes extensive medical and surgical nursing and healthcare management in the acute healthcare system. Teaching and research interests include medical, surgical and older person nursing, chronic illness, advanced nurse practice, competency assessment strategies and teaching and learning strategies.
