Supporting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Higher Education

The OECD-EC HEInnovate country review publication ‘Supporting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Higher Education in Ireland’ was recently launched. The country review involved 6 institutions including the University of Limerick. The report presents evidence-based analysis on Ireland’s higher education transformation process towards an innovative, interconnected and multidisciplinary entrepreneurial system, designed to empower its students and staff to demonstrate enterprise, innovation and creativity in teaching, research and societal engagement.

The report was launched by Minister Mitchell O’Connor, Mari Kiviniemi, Deputy Secretary-General, OECD and Antoaneta Angelova-Krasteva, Director, DG EAC, European Commission in the HEA offices on Monday last.  A summary presentation by Peter Baur, EU Commission and Andrea-Rosealinde Hofer, OECD is available on Key findings and recommendations of the report.
