Master Class for 2019 Marie Skłodowska-Cure Individual Fellowships applicants

The University of Limerick invites MSCA-IF applicants to join our free MSCA Master Class on 28-29 May 2019.

These interactive training days focus on proposal preparation for the 2019 Marie Skłodowska-Cure Individual Fellowships call. The MSCA Masterclass is open to eligible applicants who plan to submit a proposal for the 2019 call with University of Limerick as their future Host Institution and who have the support of a UL University supervisor. Researchers currently working at UL and who want to apply for a MSCA Global Fellowship are also welcome.

Master Class Programme

You will receive training on all aspects of your Fellowship proposal including societal and economic impact, data management, open access, ethics and responsible research, UL’s Postdoc Training Programme, opportunities for secondments, and much more. This training will help you to make your MSCA-IF proposal much more competitive. You will also:

  • Gain an introduction to your host supervisor and research group
  • Work on the proposal with your host supervisor and plan a schedule of ongoing support from our Marie Curie advisors

Your actual travel costs and accommodation costs from 28-29 May (maximum 2 nights) will be reimbursed by UL, to a maximum of €500 per participant (EU) or 800 (non-EU), based on an expense report including the original tickets.

You will be informed by 12th April 2019 whether or not your application has been accepted. The EU deadline for applications is Sept 11th and if successful, the two year fellowship may start anytime from spring 2020 to spring 2021.
