Student Exit Survey

The 2019 student exit survey is now open to all prospective graduating students. All eligible students will be invited by email to participate in the survey. Graduating students that complete the survey by May 28th (for June graduation) or 12th August (for August graduation) will be entered into a draw for one of ten pairs of VIP graduation ceremony tickets.

UL’s strategic plan, Broadening Horizons (2015-2019) sets out a number of themes for the five-year period. A central theme is building on our achievements and to provide a highly engaged learning experience for every one of our students by enhancing the student experience. Each year, all students that are due to graduate are invited to participate in the UL Student Exit Survey (based on the UK’s National Student Survey). This survey gives students the opportunity to reflect on their time at UL and give feedback on their unique student experiences. In addition to their overall satisfaction with UL and their course, students are asked how satisfied they are with each of the following areas:

  • Teaching and Learning
  • Assessment and Feedback
  • Academic Support
  • (Course) Organisation and Management
  • Learning Resources
  • Personal Development
  • Work Placements

The results of these surveys are taken very seriously by UL and resources are invested in the areas identified as most in need of improvement.
