Project Title: Depression and psychophysiological reactions to stress: Examining the underlying psychosocial pathways.

Project Supervisors: Professor Stephen Gallagher & Dr Siobhán Howard

Research Interests

My research interests lie in stress, mental health, and well-being. Specifically, I am interested in examining the relationship between depression and cardiovascular reactivity to acute psychological stress. As such, my thesis focuses on the underlying psychosocial pathways linking this relationship, with particular focus given to early life adversity and motivational factors.
