Steve is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics and Public Administration in the University of Limerick. He originally pursued a Bachelors Degree in European Studies but transfered to complete a degree in History, Politics, Sociology and Social Studies after deciding to major in political science. In 2009, he completed his Masters Degree in Public Administration which examined the role of Independent Dáil Deputies in Irish Coalition Governments and, in 2010, began his doctoral research, in the fields of International Relations and Organisations, in the department under the supervision of Dr. Owen Worth.
