According to Stoker, the best way to learn politics is to do it. We shouldn't teach civic studies - we should do civic engagement. Only when we collaborate, compromise, listen, enter into a dialogue and engage, will we understand the essence of political action. With this in mind, the department of Politics and Public Administration is actively involved in a number of collaborative projects - with staff, students and community partners - where we have been invited to contribute.
